Paul graduated as a tax lawyer from Leiden University. Then he joined the civil service and went on to the educational institute of the treasury to be trained as a tax inspector. For a number of years Paul was a tax inspector in the corporate taxation unit. After he left the tax office, Paul completed the post-master course indirect taxation.
From the time he moved to private practice, Paul has been focussing on corporate tax, income tax and turnover tax (VAT). Paul works mainly for owner- managers, most of whom operate internationally. VAT exempt businesses are also part of his practice.
His regular work also includes financial modelling and financing. During several years, Paul was a director of an investment fund; for this activity, Paul was approved by the supervisory authority.
Paul follows daily developments on the news, a particularly German news with interest and has a special interest in German developments.
