Paul Verberne, LLM
Paul is tax advisor. He studied tax law at Leiden University. Thereafter he successfully completed the study to be a tax a inspector at the educational institute of the Treasury. Paul worked at the corporate tax unit as an inspector. Paul also completed the post-master course “indirect taxation, at Leiden University. Paul has been working as a tax advisor for many years. His practice is principally focussed on entrepreneurs (owner-managers), lawyers and accountants.
Gerben Hillebrand, LLM
Gerben is corporate lawyer and financing specialist. He studied commercial law at Leiden University, after having completed a bachelor’s in business administration at the University of applied science in the Hague. For many years, Gerben worked as inhouse lawyer and later structured finance specialist for ABN AMRO (in Amsterdam, Sydney and Frankfurt) and for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Amsterdam, Düsseldorf and New York. Gerben assists entrepreneurs and local authorities in successfully completing their projects. He successfully completed projects for the European Union, for German fund managers, international banks and insurance companies and for many corporate clients. Gerben also supports a number of German cities and water boards with respect to the financing of their infrastructure.
